Life Long Resident
- I have lived in Jackson County all my life. I am the second daugter of William and Janice Shafer and was raised in Dudleytown. I have two sisters, Julie Peters and Stephanie Otte. I married my husband, Ben, seven years ago and we currently live in Seymour.
- I have Business Marketing from IU. My husband, Ben, has an Animal Science Degree from Purdue.
- In my spare time I help Ben on the family ran grain and dairy farm in the Dudleytown area. We enjoy skiing, Cubs Baseball, IU Basketball, and Purdue Football.
- We both grew up in the same small town church, Emanuel Lutheran Church, Dudleytown. We both currently hold offices on the church council. I teach Sunday School to children from ages 2 to 5.
- I am currently serving my third year as a Jackson County Board of Realtor, Director.
- Ben is on the board of directors for Indiana Dairy Producers Association.

- A REALTOR® is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
- The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
- Loyalty to clients;
- Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
- Cooperation with competitors;
- Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
- To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
